Formal notification of start date for Public Inquiry received from Uttlesford District Council
We have now received formal notification from UDC that the Inquiry into Stansted Airport expansion proposals will open at 10am on Tuesday 12 January 2021 and is scheduled to last for 40 days. SSE is, of course, determined to present a full suite of evidence regarding concerns over the plans for expansion.
The council note explains that the Inquiry will be a blended event which means that for some of the Inquiry the Inspectors and main parties will be physically in a room together – following socially distanced rules. For the rest of the Inquiry the sessions will be held virtually.
