SSE'S 2017 COMMUNITY CALENDAR LAUNCHED

Front Cover of the SSE 2016 Community Calendar The 2017 edition of the ever-popular Stop Stansted Expansion's (SSE) Community Calendar is now on sale across the region, featuring beautiful views of homes and heritage in the local area. All proceeds from the sales of the calendar, the fifteenth to be produced, will be used in the continuing campaign to fight off the threat of an extra runway or runways at Stansted.

The Community Calendar makes an important contribution to SSE's fundraising efforts and an equally important contribution in terms of raising and maintaining awareness of the beauty of our local landscape and heritage - a reminder of what we are fighting to protect.

As always, there is a keen interest in which towns and villages have been chosen to appear. This time they range from Arkesden and Saffron Walden in the north to Felsted and Great Bardfield in the east, and to High Roding in the South and Broxbourne in the South East.

As in previous years, the A3 format calendars are priced at just 6 and will be on sale at a network of stockists across the area, as well as from a sales team drawn from SSE's members. The SSE campaign office can also arrange gift mailing at a small extra charge.

SSE Chairman Peter Sanders paid tribute to all the local photographers and other volunteers involved in producing and selling the SSE Community Calendar: "Once again, SSE members and other local residents who care passionately about our local landscape and heritage have produced a wonderful calendar full of stunning and evocative photographs. A debt of gratitude is due to Ray Woodcock and his entire calendar team for all their hard work and dedication."

Further details together with a list of stockists can be found here.
