Campaigning against proposals to expand Stansted Airport

image Press Release - 11 October 2011

SSE 2012 Community Calendar Now on Sale Stop Stansted Expansion's much-loved Community Calendar is now on sale across Uttlesford and East Herts, featuring beautiful views of homes and heritage in the shadow of Stansted Airport.

All proceeds from sales of the calendar - the tenth to be produced - will be used in the continuing campaign by SSE to secure the long term safeguards needed to prevent the threat of a second runway ever being revisited on the region. With a new government policy currently being formulated, SSE hopes to influence political thinking to achieve this goal and to contain the adverse impacts of airport activity.

As in previous years, the A3 format calendars are priced at just £6 and will be on sale at some 30 shops across the area, as well as from a sales team drawn from SSE's members. The SSE campaign office can also arrange gift mailing at a small extra charge.

Stockists are as per previous years with details available from the campaign office on 01279 870558, or from here.
